Free Tindeq Workout App
BeyondFail is a free browser-based Tindeq workout app built for the Tindeq Progressor. It lets you create custom exercises, organize workout splits like push/pull/legs, and save every completed force-time set to your account.
The main feature is the live high-score graph underlay. When you repeat an exercise, your previous best force curve appears under your current graph, so you can compete against yourself second by second instead of only looking at a final number.
The app also supports group training for people using the same setup at the same gym. You can compare current pulls against another user's saved score and turn Tindeq isometric training into a direct competition.
Inspired By High Intensity Training
I came to this training method after watching Mike Mentzer talk about High Intensity Training. What stuck with me was the idea that you do not need endless sets, endless reps, and endless time in the gym. The real question is whether you can apply maximum effort in a focused, measurable way.
BeyondFail is my version of that idea, but built around modern force tracking.
One exercise.
One 30-second all-out effort.
One score.
"Overcoming Isometrics" With Live Data
Instead of lifting weight for reps, you press or pull against an immovable resistance for 30 seconds using a Tindeq Progressor force sensor. This is similar to "Overcoming Isometrics," where you exert maximum force against something that does not move.
The difference is that BeyondFail does not leave you guessing. It measures the actual pounds of pressure you apply second by second and turns the whole 30-second effort into a force-time score.
It Is Not Just Your Peak Number
If you hit 100 lb for one second and then fade, the score shows that. If you hold strong pressure for the full duration, the score rewards that. Every fluctuation matters.
Once you complete an exercise, the app saves your force curve. The next time you perform that same exercise, your old high score becomes a ghost curve underneath your live graph.
Compete Against Yourself In Real Time
You press Begin, get 5 seconds to get into position, and then the 30-second timeline starts. You can literally see whether your current force curve is above or below your previous best.
The goal is to stay above your old high-score curve and set a new record. If you beat it, the app saves it as your new high score and celebrates the win.
Compare Apples To Apples
There are still variables. Sleep matters. Food matters. Exercise order matters. If you normally do one all-out set per exercise but decide to do four sets on the first movement, you probably will not have the same energy left for the rest of the workout.
The app gives you a place to make notes about the conditions of that workout so your high scores have context.
Less Equipment. More Precision.
Rows of racks, anchor points, pulleys, cables, straps, handles, bars, and grips can replace stacks of traditional weight. The resistance comes from you applying force against an immovable setup, and the sensor measures exactly what you produce.
The setup can be simple. For many pull movements, you can tie off to a pole, beam, rack, or fixed anchor point, place the Tindeq inline, attach your preferred handle, and start the exercise in the app.
I used to think phones should be put away during workouts. For this kind of training, the screen is part of the workout. Seeing your live force curve against your previous high score pushes you in a way that blindly pulling as hard as possible cannot.
30-second maximum effortsA focused pressure test instead of endless rep counting.
Force over timeThe score rewards sustained output across the full set.
Live high-score curveYour previous best becomes the target you chase second by second.
Beat The Curve.
Set The Record.
